Brian D. Atkinson

Mr. Atkinson has been with Devon Health since 2002 and served as the vice president of sales beginning in April 2005. He was announced as chief operating officer in July 2007.
Mr. Atkinson started with Devon Health as a sales representative and was responsible for fostering and maintaining relationships with some of Devon Health’s largest clients. He also developed partnerships with various provider networks and companies that have helped the company flourish.
In his prior post he served as director of development at Best Nest, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides foster care and other family centered services structured to empower children infected with HIV and their families. In the community, Mr. Atkinson serves as a trustee of the Mia Sutphin Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting programs that benefit children and families in need throughout the world.
Mr. Atkinson holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Villanova University and a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Jeffrey Penn

Jeffrey Penn has over 15 years of experience in healthcare, and has been one of the most important members of the Devon Health team since the company was founded. He has been the leading sales performer for over 15 years, has built and managed relationships with the majority of Devon Health clients, and is the face of Devon Health to clients and partners.
Mr. Penn has worked for Devon Health since its inception. His responsibilities have included sales and marketing, product development, strategic planning and provider contracting. Today Mr. Penn works with insurance companies, third-party administrators (TPAs), brokers, benefit consultants and self-funded employer groups. He also spearheaded the expansion of Devon Health’s Advanced Funding and Claims Negotiation services.
Mr. Penn holds a Fellowship in managed care from the Academy of Healthcare Management, and was named Best Sales Manager at the American Business Awards in 2004.
